During the CSB's investigation of the Macondo incident, the Board has reached out to experts in a variety of fields to understand the latest thinking and advances in major accident prevention, offshore petroleum engineering, risk management, organizational behavior, process safety indicators, corporate governance, and other safety topics relevant to Macondo.
The CSB also collaborated with former regulatory heads and those involved in the creation or transformation of offshore regulatory frameworks. Below we offer a selection of pertinent working papers and reference documents.
